Installed with other trades on site at the same point in construction when traditional insulation would be installed. Performs up to 50% more energy efficiently.
Eliminate mold(s) and mildew by removing old insulation or install insulation in empty walls to improve energy performance and indoor air quality.
Extend the life of buildings, mechanicals and inventory eliminating the movement of moisture laden air through walls.
Ideal for insulating hat channels and C-channels and won’t corrode metal studs.
Existing Home Options:
Enclosed Attic Assembly
Spray Open Cell Foam directly on the roofline of the house. The new thermal envelope of the house is now the roofline. This regulates the attic temperature year around. You can expect 6-12 ̊ difference from what is in the house. Duct work and attic HVAC systems are now in a controlled environment.
Pier & Beam
Spray Open or Closed cell foam on the underside of the floor. This makes the floors comfortable year around.
We inject PIP foam between the OSB & brick wall. This provides outside walls with a thermal and vapor barrier. (PIP: Pour-In-Place)
Bonus Rooms over a garage
Install Open Cell Foam to the underside of the floor. Remove sheetrock and fiberglass batts, install the foam, then ceiling area can be repaired.
What To Know If Foaming New Contruction
What makes Foam Insulation more effective over traditional building insulation practices is the airtightness of the house. The R-value for foam may be less but the air exchanges per hour are decreased with a proper foam application. Therefore you need to:
- Have a Load Calculation performed – The load calculation determines proper HVAC system requirements.
- Work with a HVAC Contractor who has installed systems in foamed houses.
- Upgrade your bathroom exhaust fans to larger sizes
